Resilient children – resilient parents
Resilient parents – resilient children
How can we raise resilient children in a world that seems so stressful, fast-paced and ever changing?
What kind of parents do we need to be? How can we raise our children for a future that we don’t fully understand ourselves?
We often spend a lot of time trying to ‘fix’ our children and feeling guilty about being inadequate parents… but is that necessary?
In this webinar Ali Scott and Debra Simmons will share how you can parent without guilt and help children discover the resilience and wellbeing that lies within.
When we understand the nature of separate realities, and also begin to see our children’s innate resilience and wellbeing, we can start to parent from a space where love and connection can flourish. Seeing beyond our made up stories about ourselves and our children means we no longer need to fix, change or improve either them or ourselves in order to feel ok and be happy.
Ali Scott and Debra Simmons
Ali Scott suffered from anxiety for years. She worried whether she was good enough and had to battle her demons daily. However, when she came across a psychological understanding (called the Three Principles) she started to see through the stories in her head.
Debra Simmons experienced domestic abuse. When she fled her relationship she was fearful that her children would be psychologically damaged. When she stumbled across the 3Ps she realised that her children were untouchable at the core of their being.
In this webinar Ali and Debra will share how a simple misunderstanding can bog down parents in fear and guilt – however when they see through this misunderstanding then they help their children see the natural capacity for resilience and wellbeing.
Ali Scott and Debra Simmons were recent speakers at the Coaching Connect Conference ‘Clear Head – Quiet Mind’. You can watch their presentations (just 15 mins each) here:
