Life as a 3P coach
What are the key differences between a traditional coach and a 3P coach & trainer? Liz Scott has been speaking with Natasha Swedloff about her journey and transition. Natasha works with businesses and she’s been finding several aspects of her delivery have shifted since learning of the 3Ps. She prepares very differently now and she also is more trusting of the evolving and emerging nature of the group and client.
Natasha’s shift to the Three Principles
In this first video Natasha talks about her personal shift as she has learnt about the Three Principles (you can read an article called What are the Three Principles here). It has been a gradual journey and one that has had an impact on her personal life. Natasha still has her down times but she sees these negative episodes as the ‘friendly monsters’ under the bed. They still grab her but she sees them as friends.
The beauty with seeing feelings as a ‘guidance’ system rather than ‘the truth’ is that you experience negative feelings as a passing storm.
The sun always comes out after a storm
Natasha also shares her understanding of the Three Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought – watch Liz Scott interviewing Natasha in the video below
Natasha Swerdloff has found the transition to the 3Ps has been quite easy. Whilst delivering traditional coaching and coaching skills training she was looking for ‘bridges between the psychological and spiritual’. The Three Principles has provided her with a language that feels congruent. She might still use tools and techniques, however, Natasha now frames these very differently.
The change in delivering seminars
Many of Natasha’s seminars now start by laying a different foundation. She will often ask a group to discuss where all experiences are coming from. This helps participants to start to realise that their experience is being created from the inside out, not the outside in.
In this second video Liz Scott asks Natasha what her coaching life was like before and after learning about the 3Ps
You can see the first in the series of these three videos in this article called No Tools and Techniques.

If you are a coach and you’re interested in how this understanding relates to Business then check out Piers Thurston talking about the 3Ps in Business. If you live in the Devon area then Ann Ross is worth checking out as is Erica Lewis. They both provide regular 3P meet-ups.
Natasha lives in Denmark and is a coach specialising in leadership training, organizational change, communication, facilitation and process consulting. A few years ago she came across ‘The Three Principles’ and her worldview and life has subsequently changed. You can find out more about Natasha at www.theprinciplesinstitute.com
