Stuart Newberry is a coach and trainer and the co-founder of Coaching Connect. On the first week of January we (Liz and Stu) went out on a cold blustery walk to talk about resolutions, reflect on 2016 and to contemplate 2017.

Monday: How useful are resolutions? Coach Stu Newberry doesn’t think they’re up to much. He joins me on this week’s WalkTalk
Tuesday: Rather than resolutions realise you can create at any day and at any time. Wellbeing is at the core of Stuart Newberry’s coaching approach. He wants clients to get in touch with this and see the creative potential of setting goals from this place
Wednesday: Coach Stu Newberry describes how he no longer focusses on goals with clients. He finds it more useful to share ‘self-understanding’ on the inside-out nature of life. He describes this new way of working played out with his bike ride from Italy to Plymouth
Thursday: When things become challenging you can always trust in your wisdom. Wisdom is available in the moment. It’s something that coach Stuart Newberry is sharing with his clients. He wants people to know that we all have everything we need to deal with what we are faced with.
Friday: Being open to the future, rather than striving to achieve goals is at the heart of Stuart Newberry’s coaching approach. It’s how he operates in his life too. In the final day of our WalkTalk Stu looks ahead to 2017
